The reason why I joined this organization is because of the passion I have in theatre and I believe by using my skills as an actor, I can change the lifestyles of my friends who feel shy to say no to sex.

Acting and talking to friends without feeling shy are some of the benefit I have gain from this group.

Personally, I like to learn more on Sexual Abuse, HIV and AIDS and Human Rights. Joining this group has broadened my knowledge on these issues, which I have been educating my friends about.

I have benefited enough to be a good actress, given out speeches and mobilized people when the need arose.

I’m involved in this group because I want to learn more and help create awareness on current issues in the community on Human Rights, Child Trafficking and to help them live free from abuses and have quality life styles.

The benefit I am getting is behavior and attitudinal change and keen to get more. I can confidently say through this I have changed lives.

There is no gainsaying the fact that Ga- Mashie is bedeviled with socio-economic challenges. I acknowledge firmly that all problems are man-made, it is in this vein that, I believe if problems are created by men then human beings can solve human problems. I believe we have one of the greatest asset in Ga-Mashie; Human Resources. I find myself in the midst of group of young people with goodwill for their community buttress with tremendous facilities that use the creative beauty of the arts to find solution to the problems that confronts their community.

For me, the joy and reward is in the participation no more any less.

There are lots of issues that affect the youth in my community such as Teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. I joined Act for Change to know more about these issues and also change behaviours of youth on these infections.

Since I join this group, I have acquired skills in organizing workshops for participants and gain skills in facilitating a drama.

I join this organization to know more about the issues that affect my community.

The benefit I have gained from this organization is the ability to Act, express myself in front of many people and mobilize participants and train them.

The reason why I joined this group is to change people’s behaviour from bad to good deeds because the youth in the community face many problems such as relationship violence, human rights abuses and HIV and AIDS.

Since I joined this group, I have changed people’s behaviour and also realized I have passion for acting as well.

I joined this organization because of the passion I have for working with children and also have interest in acting. Joining this organization had made me a role model to bring about behaviour change in the lives of young people in my community.

I have gained knowledge on issues like HIV and AIDS, Gender and Human rights and become assertive in my relationships with the opposite sex. I have learned facilitation, trained people on how to facilitate and also became a monitoring officer.

There are a lot of issues and social vices in my community and if I don’t get involved in changing the situation, I might blame myself if it gets worsen. I have taken it upon myself to be part of this organization to address these issues through theatre.

I joined this organization to help change the lives of young people in my community. People encounter lots of problems in my community and with ideas, vision and aspirations I have for the community and joining Act For Change, we can make a positive change in the community.

Joining this organization has helped me in socialising with people, both in and out of the organization. I am able to interact with people at places and it has helped me in different ways.
